Lauren is a Jane-of-all-trades who loves to get her hands dirty, on set and off. Most recently, she production designed for There’s a Thing I Need to Do (in post production). In 2024, she worked in various production roles for 109 Billion Followers, starring J.K. Simmons. She was a producer on short films Wait (2023) and Going Down (in post production). And she wrote, produced, and directed Work in Process: A Webseries (2013).
She currently studies at The Independent Film School, under the mentorship of award-winning filmmakers Ela Thier, Mathilde Dratwa, and Tomás Gómez Bustillo.
Her directorial debut short film, In the Light of Day, is currently on the festival circuit.
Her next short film, Soup, is in pre-production. And her first feature, Remember Me, is in development.
Lauren’s mission is to tell stories that empower women and inspire healing for all. Stories of self-love, identity, and finding one’s voice.
